What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It has been an fabulous week. On Monday we did guitar and a pretest for spelling. On Tuesday we went to the gym and after we have computers
with Mr. Naso.
On Wednesday we went on a field trip to the planetarium. We learned that Jupiter has sixteen moons and some moons goes around moons. Mars also used to have water but the iron got rusty so the water got dried so that’s why it has the red color and it got the name the “Red Planet”.
There is also a book fair at our school too.
It started on Tuesday-Thursday. I got a guitar eraser that comes with a pencil. Today we did the spelling test in the morning. We might play kick the can too!:~D! -Vanessa:~D
This week has been wonderful! On Wednesday we went to the Planetarium. We saw a piece of something from the moon! We also saw a rock from the moon! It was so exciting! At the Planetarium we went in to a dome. It was dark and bright in there. We learned that some moons travel around other moons, that Jupiter has sixteen moons, and that Mars use to have water on it and that all the water got into iron and rusted it, that’s why it’s known as the red planet. We also did space rubbings too. We had green paper and cut it into the shapes of the planet. We used wax crayon to rub on another piece of paper that was blank. After that, we used yellow paint to splatter painting with toothbrushes. The next day after that, we glued on our suns we made. Then we were done! We also had a book fair! My mom is in the pac so she was the cashier. I bought two books. My brother won ten dollars for the book fair! It’s been a wonderful week! -Arcana;)
Hello. My name is Shivneel. We went to the Planetarium did you know to get into space costs 35,000,00 we went to two Theatres and we also learned that Mercury has craters.
We played hockey in the pod at recess and the score was 2-3. The game was awesome I was playing against Dylan then I was playing against Karanpreet I won 4-5 then I was playing against Thaddeus I won 6-8.<: 😛 😀 <3. 🙂 😉
This week has been FANTASTIC!!!!! 😀 The grade 4s are learning Roman Numerals and I already know up to 5000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I=1 IV=4 V=5 IX=9 X=10 XL=40 L=50 XC=90 C=100 CD=400 D=500 DM=900 M=1000 MY=4000 Y=5000!!!!! 😀 I helped Arcana with them. 🙂 On Wednesday we went to the Planetarium!!! I learned that Mercury is actually gray!! I also learned that Uranus has rings!!! Is that amazing. <: What is really really really cool is that moons go around moons. 😀 With the Roman Numerals again I'm REALLY god with them I write them on the class chalk board I'm at CLXXXI it is 181 like I said I'm god with them. 😀 Yesterday I bought a book it is called Wings Of Fire! 😛 Also Yesterday we did SPACE ART it was amazingly FUN!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 At the Planetarium again I saw Harold the robot again yes I saw him once!!! 😀

Hello. I hope you had a great week. I’m Darren S. This week we went to the Planetarium. We learned all about the stars and the planets and where the north star is:]. When we got there we waited a bit. Then we went to a big room and we learned how someone would get to go up to space . Also we learned that a wall in space is just another floor! Also an astronaut can play baseball with him or her self .We had an amazing great awesome good fun week. I hope you reply to me. Bye.
