What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

I’m involved with the Network of Performance Based Schools (NPBS) and I and 3 of my colleagues developed an action research question last year that centres around technology and kids. So, giving my kids an opportunity to create their own accounts, add images and do some reflective thinking with digital media as a tool would be a terrific opportunity.
Sometimes I find that as soon as school sets in, business follows, and the whole year is a huge juggling act to keep up with everything at hand. But not this year! I’ve really been working on correcting that limited thought in my head, and seeing that everything can be balenced, and will be, in perfect harmony. We had a speaker at our school the other day, and he was talking to us, the grads, a bit about after highschool. He told us that it’s not what you want to do, but who you want to be, that matters. So that would mean that it doesn’t matter what you do in the day, but if you’re being who you want to be no matter what you do, everything that needs to be done, will be done. And have fun doing it too, express Joy! Thanks!

At the last tutor training session on setting goals, I had another wonderful experience of sharing with another tutor – we were helping each other with our goals, and it felt great. Hey, I made a new friend.
Why I like tutoring for Literacy Victoria
– the organization promotes and demonstrates high moral values and encourages tutors and learners to do the same. It recognizes that success is higher when the individual is respected.
– my learner is a good person. I appreciate very much his utter sincerity in wanting to improve his literacy skills.
– most of my pleasure in tutoring comes from knowing that I am doing my best to help another to find greater happiness and satisfaction in life.
