What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

I had an amazing, spectacular, great year!!! We did so many types of things in different types of subjects. I remember in art we coloured in a totem pole and I remember in computers we made a comic book on comic life. It was all so fun!
I remember when my best friend Abbey left the school and moved to Chilliwack. Both Abbey and I were sad but luckily we are still in touch. A little while after Abbey left I made a new friend, Yogeet and now we are BFFLLS`s (Best Friends Forever Life Like Sisters).
We’ve done so many fun things in math like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It was all so fun. I will miss doing the math we did in this class.
This year in characters we did lots of super fun things. Some of my favourite writings were probably Disneyland, My achievement, Heart Smart and I <3 Chocolate. What I enjoyed about Disneyland was that I got to learn about Disneyland. It was all really interesting for me. I liked My Achievement was…..ummm…..I loved the trophies we made. What I loved about Heart Smart was that I liked all the details I put in and I did about 5 pages. I enjoyed I <3 Chocolate was that I learned about how chocolate was made and I got to write that I met the Easter Bunny.
All the field trips we went on were so fantastic. We went on a field trip the Museum Of Anthropology, the Art Gallery, Richmond Cultural Centre and we are going to South Arm pool. I liked the Museum Of Anthropology because I really liked what was there like the totem poles, a button blanket, the smallest totem pole in the world and a longhouse (we got to have lunch in a longhouse). I enjoyed the art gallery because we saw an Emily Carr painting. Oh it was so, very beautiful!!! The field trip to the Richmond Cultural Centre was yesterday (June.21, 2012). We went there because Madame Jubinville (a teacher Ms. Newton used to teach with) invited our class and Mrs. Kieful’s class there. When we were there we was a girl named Stephanie who used to go to Kingswood. The field trip was all about National Aboriginal Day. We are going to South Arm pool next week. I’m really not sure what day it is. I’m looking forward to this field trip because I love swimming.
I had an amazing, spectacular, great year!!! Have a good summer! ☺ <3 ☺ <3 ☺ <3 ^_^
It has been a Fantastic year!
Today I will talk about the most awesome things that have happened in this year
I remember when I was playing soccer and I scored a goal and it was so weak it just rolled in the net while everyone ran after it.
I also remember when we had sports day and the green team came in 3rd place.
I remember when it was pajama day and so many people brought stuffed animals and I was like the only person who didn’t bring one.
One of the favourite things that I remember is when we played War Ball for the first time and I didn’t get out for 3 of the 4 rounds we played.
I remember when we switched classrooms because ours was getting painted and after a few days we stayed there for the rest of the year.
This year was so much fun I will never forget how I got so many people out in war ball for the first time.
It was has been an enthusiastic year.
I could not wait until school started. I was excited to buy school supplies and then I went to school and I got my new classroom. Before I went to school I found the school I really wanted to go to.
This year has been spectacular! We got a visit from Rick Hansen, I couldn’t believe I got to meet him and to listen to his message. I learned that I should never give up on my dreams! He told us his story and now I know that I can do whatever I dream to do. I can make a difference by changing my thoughts, running on a track and being active. I can say positive things to people because I will feel better.
I made a new best friend and his name is Naveed. Naveed made me feel less lonely. He has made me a better soccer player.
I also learned how to do calligraphy. It is so much fun!
