What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Wow! what a week. On Wednesday we had tennis and we also got to make a car for our character.Tennis was so fun because our coach made it so fun. Our coach is called coach Nash and his parents were professionals too. When we made our car out of construction paper we made a lot of mess!.
I had a great week! I had fun looking at the cars on the computer. I had a lot of fun playing tennis because it felt fun and I have never played tennis before. I never knew that elephants were afraid of mice, wow! This week was great!
The week does not last long enough. At least we GOT a full week. We started tennis. The first class our coach explained what each colour of racket meant. Red is for your first warning green is when you want to take it slow yellow you want to skip lots of steps but still learn some blue is for when you play it fairly often and the special Wilson rackets are for the two people whom are the lucky leaders for the day. At home this week at night when it snowed my parents got
ME a bowl of snow. My mom brought the bowl of snow to me. She said I could eat some now and the rest in the morning but I did NOT eat it all. I am saving it for a snow ball fight. At school we did our characters vehicle. We made it a pop up then we made a small car of paper glued it on then glued a back round on to. My character has a limo with a paparatsy escape hatch. You NEVER know when they will attack! In the computer lab we looked up cars to see details we could add. Even girls ( Inclouding me) thought the cars were cool!? At that point in time Alexander showed me how to change my background. Then immedietely I changed my back round to The movie Totoro and put in that as my background .Yay! Lots of things were great this week but the high light of all was Stephanies return to the school. That was absolutely the best part. As you can clearly see this week was amazing I will never forget it! I hope...
YAY!!! I did a drawing of an elephant. It doesn’t look really good but it was fun doing it and I am learning how to LOOK. We played tennis it was fun. I I can’t wait to do it again. I’m still waiting for hip hop. Ms.Newton is a great teacher, but she doesn’t give us enough homework!
This week went by so fast!! This week we did blind contour, characters and I made a giant snow ball with my friends. My favourite part of blind contour was when we were learning how to look, my favourite part of characters was when we made our characters cars my car is a yellow Ferrari and finally my favourite part about making a giant snow ball was when we rolled it onto the field.
I had an awesome week!!
Was Stephanie just coming back for a visit? What a great welcome she must have received? Your class is so friendly and supportive.
Stephanie came back for good! A group of kids were so happy that they made her a beautiful welcome back card, complete with chocolate inside!
She is back to school for good, not just a visit. We were really happy!

My week was pretty cool too. Tennis was AWESOME! Coach Nash made me Assistant pro for the 2nd lesson. I got a blue racket for every single lesson except for the one where I got a Roger Federer racket when I was Assistant pro. Starting too many projects! It takes sooooo much time. Too much math coming our way too. Noah is being too silly with his cow right now.
