What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It is been a super great week at school. Yesterday my class did a background for an eagles print and we used sponges to do the background. We did the print with white paper to practise. We used acrylic black paint and we first used a sponge and put it on the styrofoam eagle. Then we used a piece of blue paper.
On Wednesday we did guitar and my favourite song is yellow submarine and my friend likes that song too !
On Sunday there is a hockey game and we are playing Los Angeles and we are playing in Vancouver. Yesterday we played hockey with Mr. Naso and on Monday we went to gym with Ms. Newton and we first did stretching and then we played California kick ball and it is a super fun game to do when we do gym with Ms. Newton or Mr. Naso.
Yesterday we did not do characters and we are going to perform a song and we are going to perform the song some time in June.
I am going to a party at my friend’s apartment and it is a pool party and it is going to be a super great pool party, Yay!
It was a great week. We played hockey in gym two time’s one was with MR. Naso and ms. Newton my first goal was a wimpy shot but it went in the second goal was a hard shot top corner then the third goal was like a shot that got deflected
It was a great week. We got to make eagle prints^_^. First we got styrofoam plates and then we got a drawing of a eagle. after we got the eagle we would use our picture and outline on the plate and put the eagle on the plate. Then we took our pencil and traced the eagle. Next we cut out the eagle from the styrofoam plate. Then the Next step was to paint the eagle with black acrylic paint. Then we got a white piece of paper for testing. We took the eagle and put it on the white piece of paper. We put about 3 or 4 eagles on the white paper. After we got blue paper and and made more eagle prints.
We also got to play hockey yesterday with Mr. Naso. We got to VS. Pat’s team. We lost 0-2 :(. We had to VS. Enzo and that didn’t end well I got hit on the arm by 2 sticks and the puck. The first time Enzo hit me then the puck hit me then Jet hit me.
We also got to do guitar this week. We have to pick our favourite song in the book, I choose Gypsy Rover because its the only song that I like and it’s the hardest!
ALOHA!!!!!! (That`s how to say hi in Hawaiian!). Anyways I had a FANTASTICAL week!!!!!!! We did so many fun things like art, guitars, watch hockey, gym and there`s something about someone`s birthday. <3 :p
TODAY IS DANA`S AND MY COUSINS`S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! Dana is Ms. Newton`s daughter. She is now 29. My cousin`s name is Daniil and he is now 17. :$
Did you watch the hockey games?!?! I did. I watched the Canucks playing.
This week in characters we did.......ummmmmm.......well. Hey!!!! Wait a minute......we didn`t do characters this week. Just ignore this paragraph, it never existed.
This week was so great because I’m finally finished my second Geronimo Stilton book! Now I’m on my third book yay 🙂 .
At gym we did with Ms. Newton was California kickball but we are doing it next time :(. And with Mr. Naso we played hockey and the puck hit my arm really, really bad and my arm still hurts a little bit.
Did u guys see the GAME on Wednesday night? The score was 3-1.Yes WE WON 🙂 and on the newspaper it said, Yes, we CANucks.
This is all the time I have, wait I almost forgot remember Canucks rule!!
This week we went too gym 🙂 It was so fun because we played hockey. We also ran relays.
We also painted our eagles with sponges and we used black acrylic paint. It was also fun 🙂 and very messy!
My favourite guitar songs are Yellow Submarine and Country Road. I have a guitar at home!
