What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week had been awesome! We got to do sgraffito. In sgraffito you first draw an eagle. then you colour in the eagle with oil pastel. after you are finished colouring the picture you outline it. You outline it with black oil pastels. After outlining it you paint it with black acrylic paint. After it dries you get a toothpick and make designs on the eagle
We also go to stain our beavers. After the stains dried we dabbed it with varnish. it was fun.
This week we also got to do characters. In characters we went to a hockey game. The hockey game we went to was Vancouver verses La kings. We lost.
Its been an awesome week.
HI This week we did stuff just kidding we did a lot of you know things. We did dodge ball and I was in net also was in soccer to. We did scrafito and I JUST FINISHED my desgin. I did my characters!
I saw a cool desgin of the Canucks it was the hunger games.
This week we did characters are title was Let The Playoff Begin. We also did sgraffito and play soccer with Mr.Naso.
Hi this week has been amazing. On Monday we did sgraffito eagles and it was pretty fun it looks cool to it looks like it glows in the dark. First we drew it and then we coloured it with oil pastels we let them rest for awhile then we painted over with black acrylic paint but we had to put a little bit of soap into it or it wouldn’t stick to the oil pastel. When the paint was dry we took a tooth pick and started scratching. Then we made a design on the eagle. It took us about three days to make it but it was worth the wait.
On Tuesday we had computers with Oh wait a second we did not have school on Monday so I think all of that stuff was from Tuesday and it was pretty fun so back to Tuesday. On Tuesday we had computers and Mr. Naso told us that we were going to make our own websites and I was going to help! but then when we did computers. Ops there’s the signal to go.
GO CANUCKS GOOOOOOO! We won the presidents trophy again and we ARE going to win the STANLEY CUP! On Wednesday we lost to LA 4-2 but Luongo was outstanding in the first minute he made three saves that were for sure goals 1 off the face off 2 in front of the net 3 wide open net. He should of been the first star. 🙂 At least today we have another chance and We will made.
Todays pizza day and I get Hawain also I’m going to watch the game at my friends house.
I have pizza day today! Yesterday we stained and glazed our beavers with doughnuts. Just kidding we glazed it not with doughnuts.
we did sgrafitto. It is hard but fun if you want yours to look good you have to be patient.
