What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Yay! It’s been a SPECTACULAR week! <3 ! 🙂 We did so many fun things like Math,sgrafitto,Characters,gym and starting the treatment for my braces.
In art this week we did sgraffito. We drew an eagle and then we coloured it in with oil pastels. After we colored it in fully we outlined it with a black oil pastel. After that we painted it over with black acrylic paint. Then we carved out designs with a toothpick. Sgraffito is always fun!
This week I started the treatment for my braces. All I'm worrying about is if the elastics in my mouth are going to hurt if I open my mouth to talk. But otherwise be "excited not nervous"

Hi, It’s Sophia I had a S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R week!!!!! my fav part was when we did sgraffito and glazed our beavers 😀 I <3 doing that!! We also did Characters!!! the title was called "Let The Playoffs
Begin"it was fun we got to colour a Canucks logo and then glue it in. In gym we ran one lap and then played dodge ball and after that soccer. Anju and I were NOT on the same team!! We had to play against each other! 🙁 But it was still fun. On Wednesday the Canucks played L.A. L.A won 🙁 the score was 4-2!! But after all I had a great time!!!
This week in characters and art we did family reunion. For family reunion we drew a family tree it was really fun. In art we did sgraffito! For sgraffito we drew an eagle and we coloured it in with oil pastels and outlined it with a black oil pastel!

Oh we also got to see our clay beavers in the kiln. I realized that the colour of the fur changed. The colour of the beaver’s fur is now golden brownish. We drew eagles with pencils and we coloured them with oil pastel and then we outlined the eagles with black oil pastel so next time we are going to do sgraffito. Yay! For characters we made a family reunion tree. It was about how our characters family got together. At last we went for a run. I did two laps. I want to tell you one last thing. That is that I really enjoyed this week. It was great. 😀

And what’s gone well in YOUR day/ week
I had a great week. Yesterday we had a family tree reunion for Characters and we ran 3 times. We did eagles and we coloured it and we used oil pastels. We went to hip hop to learn moves.
It was a wonderful spring break. At school we learned about eagles! It is very interesting.
