What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

YAY!!! Tomorrow is the last day of school for winter break!!! 🙂 🙁 I’m happy because i can sleep in, I’m sad because i will miss my friends unless I have sleepover or something. Is it the last day of school at kingswood? What was the last thing you did in characters? I miss you guys! ~ Abbey ~
Hi Abbey!!
GREAT to hear from you!! Sounds like you are enjoying your new school, so happy to hear that! We miss you here at Kingswood! Our school is being painted and we have moved our classroom across the pod! We now have our very own cloakroom!!
The last thing we did in Characters was we wrote a letter to Santa, just like we did last year. This year we made a cut out picture of Santa to go with our letter and we are learning the lettering so we could print ‘letter to Santa’ on the page that we addressed the envelope to Santa!!
What have you been learning so far??
Thanks so much for writing, we would love to hear from you again soon!!
Bounjour! Oh mon Dieu, ça fait tellement longtemps que je n’ai posté! I miss you people sooooooo much!!! School’s been great but not as great as kingswood… KEEP ROCKIN’ IT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about the french bit at the beggining of the post, I couldn’t help it….. By the way I kept my characters book in a safe spot! It means a lot to me.I keep getting the same reply from teachers though….EVEN IN FRENCH!! They all say ” Oh wow you should be a writer or a journalist” or “I would definetly buy your books!” I don’t want to be a writer 🙁 I want to be a doctor for the good of humanity!
BUT good news: Next thursday I’m coming to vancouver! I might just make a visit to a lovely school for a while if that’s ok with you……….
Well got to go! Se you soon!
Hi Avery!
I would LOVE to see you but we are not in school right now!! Maybe I will check this site to see when you arrive so please post! Will you be staying close to the school?? Maybe we can figure out where to meet??!! How long are you here for?
So glad to hear that you have kept your Characters book! Maybe some day I will write a book about how to write Characters?? I’d LOVE to do a website?? it would be too much fun!!
Hope you have a good trip!! Merry Christmas!!
This was a spectacular week because we played the guitar with Mr. Naso and he taught us the E minor. I forgot it already! I will learn the guitar. I forgot to play hockey in the hockey box I knew it when the bell rang. We also wrote a latter to Santa. 🙂
Yesterday we wrote a letter to Santa in Characters of course. But I wrote my real letter to Santa too. It was a bit long, I asked him for a lot. On the same day Mr. Naso again took us to gym. Well maybe not the gym instead he took us to another room. First we played guitar and we learned the E minor, it was fun. We also played don’t stop believing.
A great week!
This week was so fun. We got to play guitar so much this week that my thumb is hurting so much. First we played guitar with Ms. Newton then with Mr. Higo, our principal, and we also played with Mr. Naso! When we were playing guitar with Mr. Naso we got to play a game. In that game when the music stops we had to do a pose. For the first one you touch your toes. The next one was the one that hurt the most because I almost did the splits. Then you have to cross your arms. Next you have to put your hands on your head. Then my favourite one you had to do the disco. We also wrote letters to Santa.
