What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
I had a fantabulous week! In math we did graphing. We had +1 +2 +3 and +itself for homework. It was really fun!
In characters we learned to indent. We also drew our character’s houses. First we drew them in our art journal as practice. After we practiced we drew them in 3D!
This week we had spelling. In spelling we had a hard bonus word. It was punctuation. We have not done the spelling test today yet. We are going to do the spelling test after recess.
This week we also did art. In art we did maple leaf rubbings. It was a lot of fun. Ms.Newton framed Yogeet’s picture!!!!
This week we had library. It was our first time this year! In the library they are giving away free books. Yogeet and I are going to take some home.
OMG!!! It has been a Spectacular week!
In characters we did a rough draft for writing and then when we were finished our writing we drew a 3D shaped house for the characters to live in.
In math we did graphing it was really fun and easy. We also did +1 +2 +3 and plus itself for homework and school work.
For art, we did an Emily Carr style painting. Ms.Newton said that mine was perfectly balanced because I added dark green leaves on one side and light green leaves on the other side. The other painting was a Maple leave sponge painting. First, we put the maple leaf under the paper and then we used a black medium to go over it and then we sponge painted it with green, red, orange and yellow paints. Then when mine dried up Ms. Newton framed it. I was so happy because she only framed mine .

hi this is Sophia. This week has been good I really am happy. We’re doing 3D house drawings. I’m so happy Ms Newton chose to do this YAY!!!!!!! Plus we learned in guitar the D A7 and the G chord more YAYs!!!!!!. OK please write back to me !!!!!!! . We also played lots of hockey.
This was an awesome and sad week for 1. I found out I might move to Nunavat 2. I learned how to make a 3D house, it’s really cool. I love doing guitar ( and recess!!!) I love gym when we do things like cones in the gym and you have to go around with a hockey stick and games of hockey. It is very FUN!!!!. It’s a great school year! I love computers, art, and kick the can and last but not least my teacher Ms.Newton.
It has been a FANECTACULAUR week ( I made that word up) this week we did so many things like Gym, Guitar, Math, Computers, Spelling , Running , Smartboard ( We have two Smartboards now) and hockey.
Well this week for gym we did hockey with Ms. Newton and we played skittles and soccer with Mr. Naso. For guitar with Ms.Newton the grade 3’s learned D, A7, AND G chords. Sorry guys and don’t have any more time bye ::::)
It has been a spectacular week! This week we used the smart board. We were learning about Emily Carr!!!!!!!!!! We were also learning about Canada. Yogeet and Jenny and I were not there because it was Abbey’s last day and we were making her a card.(It was really big)
This week we got accounts on raz kids. We got passwords and a username. (raz kids helps you with your reading skills)
This week we also did characters. We wrote a web. It was our first tie this year. It was about our characters. 🙂
