I decided to stay in Vernon for a bit and have now had some other incredible people offer me their places while they’re away.
So I can live near my sister affordably for a while which we’ve been trying to do anyway.
Also: a friend loaned me his car, another loaned me his scooter, a professional poker player took hours to help me with my game, some great people cooked me great meals on several occasions, got a deal on paddle boards, was given some part time work to pay the bills, received copious amounts of free beer, wine, and cheese, was shown some cool spots to run, bike, hike, swim, and cliff jump here in Vernon, and I am loved by a lot of good people.
