I’m a silver lining hunter 🙂
I just spent a week in Desolation Sound camping on a boat. The scenery, the peace and the time to sit, read and relax were truly a blessing!
Even the meals were fun to put together and we managed to keep everything cold for 6 days! It’s so great to be able to draw on these experiences as I head back to work. I’m actually looking forward to it!
I was visiting a friend at a care facility who is in a wheel chair and is blind. Each time we meet we talk about WGWT.. and sometimes it’s a slow start. This morning we went and sat in the sun. She found few reasons to smile.. then this resident came past us, singing. It didn’t take much to have him stop and share a few minutes in the sun. He even asked her where her bikini was.. but warned her that would cause all the men would be around her. She not only smiled, but laughed.
Yes, engage with strangers.. so many rewards!
