Had a great conversation with this poet on the ferry. Loved her ideas on power of poetry to change lives.
Got to spend time with one of my fav people. She lives in Vancouver and is always open to a visit even at about 7 AM. She and I both are open to great conversations with new people. Here’s she talks about having a conversation with a stranger that made her day
I followed the steps a service man had suggested for another one, including putting in a new wall switch. Going no where, I asked a friend to look at it. He was drawing blanks but felt the answer wasn’t complicated. He looked at a second fireplace we had.. and saw a wire had been put on the wrong terminal. Fixed!
Having fresh eyes to a sticky problem is such a bonus.
We followed it up with some good conversation and a game of pool at the club.
