Since our printer is dead.. I went to the copy shop on campus.. and was printing from a terminal. New territory! A student became my helpful guide and didn’t just point out how to do it.. but stayed with me for a few minutes and made sure I got what I needed.
We have a built in vacuum system in the house we’ve owned for a about a year. The suction was sometimes not that good and I would use a shop vac to reverse flush it out. A few days ago the outlet in our kitchen just stopped. Despite attempts with the shop vac, nothing changed. I phoned Doug, a service man I’d heard about earlier. He worked on all of the outlets in the house.. and one in the basement yielded a couple of nails probably left over from the construction of the house, 11 years ago. That seemed to clear a ‘ log jam’ and now all outlets in the house work. It was another illustration that we are all connected. The outlet that looked to be clogged, wasn’t. After Doug left.. I had one more question. When I phoned him, he turned around and came back and gave a suggestion.
