Then i went to my office …. & it was like my bubble was burst. felt undervalued & unheard & unworthy (lies!!!). which led to a mtg with one of my agents, which led to a phone conversation with a woman in Calgary that is doing great, which led to us setting a date for a ‘women’s finance seminar’!!
A ‘Women’s Finance Seminar’ is designed to bring awareness & education to Women & to Men about the importance of women understanding their money (80% of women are on track to be broke at retirement & will need to continue working well into there 70’s or even 80’s) & taking right action to ensure financial independence at retirement.
So when you’re in an elevator.. break the ‘code’ and ask WGWT.. Let’s change the way people engage, one ride at a time.

Simply put, we have to stand alongside our donors and help them celebrate the joy of giving. I fear that if we don’t, if we can’t persuade our donors and would-be donors that supporting our causes is actually a pleasurable, worthwhile, fulfilling, meaningful but above all an enjoyable thing to do, then I fear that sooner or later – and I think sooner – we are all doomed.
… the move away from traditional scripted calls towards callers specially trained to have a conversation, to let the person they’re calling take that conversation in whatever direction they like.
