She read it to Bill.
Here are the last few lines:
Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.’
Moved by a great question remembered from their earlier conversation, and shared back to her
On the same bus line, and at the same time as just few days previous, I met a girl, again, sitting on the same seat, with her yoga mat.
We were both very excited to recognize each other.
The last time I sat beside her, I thought for around three to five minutes, deciding whether to initiate a conversation with her or not. I got one question in my mind and pre-answered it myself. I put away my Kindle and turned to her, asking “Do you have a minute for my question today?”
“Sure.” She smiled.
“What stood out for you today?”
“What a nice question!” She glowed. Then she talked about the joy of doing yoga. We had a very short conversation as she soon had to get off the bus.
This time we got more minutes! She asked back to me first, “What stood out for you today?” I really appreciated her asking. She said she remembered this question.
“This reunion is definitely the highlight of my day,” I replied. We enjoyed a pretty pleasant conversation, in the sun shining through the bus window before it set. I really love her smile.

Reminded me of earlier Music Fest times.
