Later we took in the Christmas carol party at the Fernwood Inn. Packed full of love and connections. Good chat with Sarah and Phil. Rare chats. From there we can connect two avid marine biologists on Monday. Remarkable to discover the network that exists — connections the buying group. Such lovely guys. I love hearing stories of closeness in families..of children really being there for their parent.
Being fluid in one’s days really helps. So glad another friend was able to join for us for dinner.

The 18″ rule held true again. A friend mentioned she could not locate a gift given to her a number of years ago and been quite concerned. I reminded her of the 18″ rule which states that missing objects can most likely be found within 18 inches of where they were supposed to be. When se saw me today, she just said, ” 18 inches worked!”
