My neighbour just shoveled my driveway and lane way! He didn’t even ask. He just did it!! What a lovely gesture.
A customer in the London Drugs computer department stepped up and took an interest in a challenge I was facing. He was very thoughtful and considerate, and began to look at items on the wall that could solve my problem. Turns out he works in the security industry… a lovely spirit indeed to run into.
Ho, Ho, snow day in Victoria — co-workers at our facility who just couldn’t get to work through all-that-snow –blessings were all around — those in the immediate area happily stepped in and covered all shifts … grateful all is well 🙂
I wear a pair of ‘grip’ in snowy days slippery roads, the grip can attach to shoes, so to prevent fall, it’s a good thing to seniors who walk or bus, it’s a good thing to anyone who want to prevent falling.
I’m grateful indeed for friends who go out of their way to help others! Last fall, I experienced a tumble, that resulted in my needing extra care at home. Friends stepped up, arriving with plates of home-cooked food, and a delightful housemate was recommended. We discovered numerous interests in common. And when she appears in the morning, a flood of pure sunshine seems to brighten the dullest day. My former housemates continue to visit, and the sisterhood of friends grows ever stronger!
Due to a heavy snow fall, school was closed today. All the kids in my neighborhood gathered at a park to make a snowman, throw snow balls or go sledding. They had so much fun.
