It was the first day without my best friend as a guide, I successfully navigated for myself and accomplished a few important errands.
After struggling on a steep learning curve of this new stage, I am very encouraged and excited to have heard back from some well mannered prospective employers.
I feel there’s a fire under my bum, and yet a great deal of support.
I feel very grateful.
The collaboration that we are having over getting some work is amazing. No matter where that resource is, it can be located , and shared. The only thing that’s different is the time zones..
Technology is playing out in her work search as well. Searching, apply, replying… connecting. The humanity of it still has a big piece nonetheless. After all this , the phone call, or the open mixer. But getting to the mixer/ the open door just got a lot easier.
I try to start each new day with a sweet little prayer which goes ” Father-Mother Love, Guard me through my day, guide me all the way, up to thee.” It’s an adult version of a “Children’s prayer” by Mary Baker Eddy. Anyway, last Tuesday, I had a very good experience during my day. I was out and about
driving to several destinations and had this uneasy feeling something was not right with the car. It was just an intuition and had no idea what this might be. After lunch, it just came to me very strongly to go out and look all around the car and when I did, one of tires appeared to look different from the others – not exactly flat but bulgier. Fortunately, where I live is a two minute drive to my local gas station and I immediately went there. The attendant was so accomodating, pleasant and reassuring – it was a flat tire and he just said “Oh, we”ll get that fixed for you”. The mechanic just arrived back from lunch and he came over with a big smile and said “Leave it with me, come back in half an hour, it’ll be done”. I just felt so comforted in their immediate concern to take care of me. This incident could have occured later as a real flat tire – half way across town and not anywhere near a gas station and it turned out to be a nail in the tire. I was so grateful that I had listened to divine Love guarding me and guiding me in this situation.
My Sister is very excited about Halloween for more than one reason, but maybe one reason is different than most. Christmas is actually her favourite time of the year and the day after Halloween signifies to her, the start of the Christmas season LOL.
Well, whatever reason we are celebrating I really like the positive vibe that I choose to feel in the air 🙂
Happy Halloween everyone!
