In a grocery store line-up I carefully considered what question to ask a customer. I decided to ask a woman behind me, with a cane in her basket, ‘What was one job that stood out in your career?”
She pretty quickly responded,’I opened up a clinic in Nepal.’ She did for 5 months. She had met a fellow from England, and said she’d be in Nepal for 5 months, then return to England and marry him.
She said my question surprised her… but she liked it.
Later she said,’ People these days don’t know how to talk.’
Found an all-in-one kitchen unit that can be shipped from NY to our home. On the company site it said it does not ship outside of the US, but when I phoned the company they told me a Vancouver company that carries their product. The shipment was arranged. It was great relief.
The carpet on our suite floor is made of carpet tiles which as easy to remove, clean, dry and replace. Wonderful, simple technology
