We got the provincial assessment for a house we own on Foul Bay Rd. There’s always provision for requesting a second look at the price they’ve estimated. In this case we had bank’s assessment done in November. I called for an appeal, and the agent told us the necessary steps that would result in our getting a decision in two days. When we didn’t hear, I contacted her again.. and to make this a shorter story, she got in touch with the assessor. All was straightened out that morning and the assessed value dropped $100k with only a day to go in the process.

Battling with door lock batteries that left the lock making beeping signals indicating low voltage despite being full recharged. ..I see that we can get the voltage up higher by leaving them active in the charger after they are ‘done’. The voltage seems to improve.
