What’s Gone Well Today? ®

I’d just bought a nice little coil note book, and started with about 3 pages, then didn’t get to it for a few days. When I opened it again, the notes I’d written were gone. After flipping through it carefully twice, I started ruminating who had been into it, and why. It was private, and was disappointing that anyone in the house would read it. Then I decided to love everyone anyway, for they are all such dears and would have no malice. The next morning I thought I’d start again, and found that the first few pages of writing were there, but a little further along, as some of the first pages were lightly stuck together at the edge. No use condemning myself, either, and so happy that I hadn’t mentioned it to anyone!
Ran into a friend who just got a job at UVic ‘that was made for me’.. She used one of my clips in her final report for another project. We talked about a number of opportunities for ‘story work’ to help her new program.
Had coffee with a friend on campus who had remarkable stories of invention and innovation to share. He in turn introduced me to two profs doing great work. Some video highlights will come from those connections.
Nice looking site, nice idea to be focusing on the good. I had a lovely person helping me redeem my airmiles today, making a very joyuful start to my up coming trip to Van.
The other day I had two great conversations at Thrifty Foods. One with an employee who just wrote her LSAT… and found my initial question, ” What made you say yes to Thrifties when they offered you a job” a loaded question. Five minutes later, many observations, life changes and aspirations were shared.
At the checkout a chat about someone’s ‘island paving’ jacket became an intro to Troy Wilson, the author of Perfect Man, an endearing book of growing up, and being inspired. We took it out from the library the next day. It’s a book for all ages.
New partnerships in community success stories are coming together.
WGWT was the attitude of care and support the sender showed.. it really carried a punch.

Date shake… a must if you’re passing through date country. We found it is in a 1970’s convenience store in the middle of nowhere.
