What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

The focus on what people CAN do is a key to my work using theatre with people with limitations
Three rewards for volunteering as a surfing teacher in Tofino
Here’s the follow up to a video interview we did in June where Noah talked about his passion for helping people with special needs through surfing. He had just opened a door with Power to Be. This weekend they took that idea to a ground breaking event at Pacific Sands at Tofino.
Last week, I learned that the White Rock Church had just rented a storefront property for their Reading Room, church, and Sunday school. We went there on Thanksgiving and left the photo album. Here is the message I received today: “…your album has been passed around; and tonight the Board went through it and listed all the things we liked in it – things that have helped us tell our designer/decorator what we want. Because we were able to show her, she has an exact idea of what we want. …So I’m very grateful for the foresight and diligence which you and Dick showed in going to Seattle and in creating this album. It has been a huge blessing to us.”
And I, in turn, am most grateful for this happy turn of events. It reminds me of part of a poem by Peter J. Henniker Heaton, called “My Father Worketh Hitherto.” This poem was shared with me years ago by a Christian Science practitioner who was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, White Rock. The second verse reads:
At first we may not see the workings plain,
the distant purpose that He sets in train
to bless us in its season; but we know
God is at work. And this we also know,
that Love, intelligence, and power combine
to bring all things precisely into line.
I made a dairy-free, gluten-free raw apple pie this morning from scratch in under an hour and entered this in the James Bay Community Market’ Harvest Fair’s Apple Pie Contest. My pie won 2nd Place and everyone enjoyed eating it!
