‘Hi .. Conversation Changes Lives’ Book Blog
“Hi” is a wealth of information that will encourage you, entice you, to take the first tentative steps to engage with others, to develop a sense of worth in one’s involvement with others, and with the community we share.
I highly recommend this treasure trove of practices, delightful story ‘snippets’, and compelling rationale for conversation. — Ken Annandale, Educator

Two current ideas from reading Hi: Connect! Stay connected 🙂
Lol in other words communicate openly 😊
Your blog posts and the usage thereof … are very prompting to keep connections moving with needs being met and heard … lol, in delightfully surprising ways 🙂 …
What went well today !?
Meeting a new friend ! Awesone 😊 A good whole hearted conversation has always been one of my greatest Joy’s … gift filled ♡ I say thank you, thank you !♡
Connecting with friends in an open dialogue always makes my day ! … rich in exploring higher thought considerations rather than complaint poverty overtones. I had a few conversations like this rich, peaceful, thought filled ! Very cool !♡
I finished your book last night and found it got me thinking about opening conversations that would apply to our specific business and in particular doing open houses where people tend to come through with their guard up thinking you are going to try to sell them something
Finding openings that have the same effect as the ones you suggest would help break through that and put them at ease
Talking to someone who’s in the middle of active life change is a very special ‘place’. They truly are ‘Travelers in their own town’ – their radar is on for next steps, fresh resources. They are ready to engage and explore. I’m glad I have ideas and resources to share with them, most of which are very accessible.
I asked a cashier at a grocery store, “If you didn’t work at this store, where would you like to work?” She quickly said, “Shaw. They have really good benefits.” Then she said, “That’s a really good question!”
I told her about Hi! and said she could get it at the library. She works right across the street from a branch. She said she’d order it. I asked her to repeat the name of the book.. She got it mostly right.
