What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
this week was extraordinary. we did lots of fun things. like gym.art and alot more. im running out of things to say so bye!!!!! – emma

I am replying late. We went to the art gallery and we learned the proportion of the face. At the art gallery They made us paper hats. We also got to play the hand drums.
in characters we made are own team name and logo. my team name is Speedy Kings. The logo is a lion with a crown. The team plays hockey.

I had a excellent, busy, SPETACULAR week! I am exploding with all the much fun. It was so fun that I can’t forget about it now. Hey, since I can’t get it out of my head, why don’t I tell you all the fun stuff I had.
My class and I went on a field trip. We went to a place called the children’s festival. My partner on the bus well my group on the bus was Sophia and Emily. Sophia brought her DSI so we got to play with it. She showed us a lot of games to play. That was fun.
Our class got to draw pictures with charcoal. I think my drawing was good. No not just good excellent 😀 Well I am talking about a picture of my- self that I drew. Sophia said that the person I drew looked like a professor. 🙁 I don’t think so. I just think it looks like a regular person. A regular person that is me!! 😛 🙂
We did characters too! We got to make a team. A team for our characters. My teams name is THE FLYING DOLPHIN so on my soccer shirt it has a dolphin logo.
Oh, I forgot to tell you something. The day I went on a field trip was Valentine’s Day. So the end of the day we got to bring our Valentine’s Day bags home. I love Valentine’s Day!!!!
It has been a super week! We went on a field trip to the richmond art festival. We also did characters. The title was I made the team! I thought of a good team! It was the Richmond Canucks! 🙂
This week has been amazing! We got to go to the Childrens Arts Festival. At the Childrens Arts Festival we got to draw a self portrait of ourselves. After we finished drawing we ate our lunch outside and we got to either sit on a chair and eat or sit on the bench. There were some really cool rocks. When we finished eating we got to go to a stand. In the stand there were people making hats out of paper bags and when you got your hat they would let you decorate the hat. After that we followed the teacher into a room. In the room we learned how to hand drum and the guy made up catchy phrases like eat the pizza. When he said eat the pizza he said that you can come up and dance. After the dance he let us sit down and he told us a story. The story was about a farmer who ran out of food. The farmer went to the river to find some animals when he became very tired and saw a chicken. He tried to steal the chicken but the villagers saw him. The farmer was taken to the chief and he was shaking a lot. The chief wanted to give him a chance so he asked the farmer where he learned that dance. At the end they called the dance the funky chiken.
This week we also got to make up a team with a logo. We had to pick a picture and a sport. My team was called the San Diego Eagles. The picture is an eagle with two hockey sticks crossed under it. The sport I picked was hockey. After we got to make the picture we got to make a jersey. My jersey is orange and the writing is in red. After the jersey we got to write about our teams. It was a lot of fun.

This week in characters we were writing about a sports team our characters joined. Our characters could have joined a made up sports team or a real sports team. The title for our writing was I Made The Team!
The field trip we went on was to the art festival. I am not sure where it was, but it was super fun. We learned how to draw faces and learned many other things. We learned so many things I can`t even remember everything we learned right now.
On Thursday we went for a run. The minimum was 3 laps and the maximum was 4 or 5 laps. I had to run with a broken shoe because my boot broke. I think the bottom fell off of it. It was hard for me to run. I managed 3 laps.
This week in gym we played tag and European hand ball with Mr. Naso. It was fun.
