What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was epic. We got to play Atomic dodgeball, European hand ball and basketball. We also got to learn about friends. Friends are people that listens to you. It was a great week.
YAY! ITS PAJAMA DAY! Its also Stryder’s birthday! Stryder is Ms.newton’s son.
In gym we played European hand ball. I was goalie for a long time until Nathan wanted to be goalie so I let Nathan in goalie and I scored a goal. Roman scored on me by a penalty shot right through the legs! (or five hole) We also played atomic dodge ball. But i have to admit i didn’t like atomic dodge ball.

Hi this is me Anju from Kingswood! We had alot of fun this week. 😀 We decorated paper bags with colour paper, we cut out hearts in colour paper and we are going to put all the Valentine’s day cards in the paper bags we decorated with cut out hearts. So then on Valentine’s day we can say thank you to each and every person who gave us a Valentine’s day card. In characters we made people out of paper and we coloured them with felts. We didn’t use felts for awhile so I was happy to use them. It was called a friend is some one who……. I drew my character’s friend and my character’s friend’s name is Camillia. They look so alike but not so alike because Kathleen my character has a twin named Bella. We learned about what can you do on Valentine’s day. The most fun thing I did this week was to go to gym with Mr. Naso. At gym Sophia got hit in the head by Ryan. Everybody laughed at Sophia but I didn’t laugh. I guess Sophia was really embarrassed. A lot of people cried after gym time. I didn’t cry…I didn’t cry because there was nothing wrong with me! 😀 🙂 😛
Hi, this is Sophia ! We had a super spectacular week! 😀 We made our Valentine’s Day bags mine had alot of colour! 😀 Also we did characters! We did a valentines day project we did A Friend is Someone Who….. I also think it does not feel good to have a shoe hit you in the head! because at gym Ryan was kicking the ball he wasn’t supposed to and I was sitting on the bench with my friends and Mr. Naso was talking to us. When Ryan kicked the ball everyone thought it was going to hit Mr.Naso but………. NO!!!! it hit me right on the top off my head and it really hurt! When I looked up with tears everyone was laughing at me!!!! I felt sad and mad! 🙁 ok now talk about something happy ok umm… o I know! 😛 Oh, it just hurt and I bet people also will post about me getting hurt! ummm…. I had a good day! 😀 🙂 😛
Hi this is Emma. This week has been a fantastic week! Today is pajama day. I only have an old green bear shirt and blue pajama pants : D Today is Ms.Newton’s son’s birthday! We all sang happy birthday for the camera! We also made our Valentine’s Day bags. We went to gym, with Mr. Naso. : ) I felt really bad for Sophia. Ryan’s shoe fell off and hit the top of Sophia”s head! I felt really bad for her : ( oh well. And when I’m sad? forget it. anyways bye!!! : p
What a week! Sorry I haven’t been posting for a while but I have been extremely busy with Ms Thomas’s assigned work. It has been very difficult with her work T.T anyways I have been having lots of fun as well in her class. There was a project which we had done which is about having a dream. It was called “I Have A Dream” and it was an amazing project to do. When I first got assigned the project I was astonished about what I had to do because I couldn’t think of what do to. I thought myself through and then I finally thought up something. It was to write about my aunt recently having a stroke. It was very tragic for me and my family to go through with her going through the minor stroke which happened the week of January the 17th. But now she is at her home and she is all better now and that means the world to me and my family. But anyways I saw this video and it is absolutely amazingly awkward! It is about a car that is racing around in the deserts in the states. There are instruments attached to the stands and each one is tunned to wherever you hit it it makes the sound that they want. It is amazing and if you want you can check it out up in the top of the post. But back to the school part, Ms. Thomas is teaching us prime and composite numbers. it is kind of confusing but I got used to it quickly. Also we have learned long division again (because it is a review from Ms. Newton’s class) but now I finally understand it! Also with Ms. Thomas we are not allowed to say what, huh, or stuff. As in if you say something and then you don’t hear and you say what? then she will give you an amazingly awkward look. But that is all I can do for now and I have to go to bed! Good Night!
