What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It has been a great week at school!
Yesterday we did characters. In characters we were writing about Heart Smart.
Heart Smart mean eating healthy fruit and vegetables. On Thursday we started on clay and Ms. Newton we are going to make a beavers out of clay and we pulled the clay. We used a texture called burlap for the tail. Yesterday we went to gym with Mr. Naso to run and we ran to do 2 laps.
It has been a great week. We made clay beavers. First we pulled out the head. After we stuck our thumbs were our feet were going to go then we pulled out the feet. Also we pulled out the feet also we pulled out the tail.Then we made the fur with going down with a toothpick. Also we made the scales on the tail with burlap my beaver looked great.
In characters we wrote about heart smart. Heart smart means that you eat healthy food. we did a rough draft first we started off with eating bad food. We felt so bad we did research.
Hi,This is Sophia 😀 Ihad an excellent and spectacular week! We did my favourite subject……..ART!!! We made beavers out of clay. We used burlap for the texture of the tail and we used a toothpick for the fur!. We also did gym it was hard and fun until I got up to the part were I lost one of my earings 🙁 but it was still awesome! 😛 We also did characters heart smart! It was great I made a dinner on paper! Also when I got home my nanny offered me pop and I said……..NOOOOO!!!!! he he 😛 Today is Friday and we had an assembly. It was good, there was a slide show. It showed Jenny and I in pajamas. It also showed Anju and I drawing.

Yay! It’s almost the end of February. This week I went to the Art Gallery at Minoru. On Thursday I did Characters and my topic was “I Made The Team”and it was a soccer team.

WOW it has been an AMAZING week. I can’t believe it went by so fast. Hmmmmm…..I wonder if someone’s pressing the fast forward button. Wait a second I think I know why……probably because it was a Pro-D-Day. I think my brain wasn’t thinking because everything that I am about to write happened all last week!
Last week we did characters. In characters our topic was I made the team! I wrote about my character joining a swim club. At her sixth swim meet she won (Wait I think I forgot Sorry) anyway for our character we even got to make jerseys out of paper and we made a logo in the front of the jersey and we wrote a number at the back and at the top of the number we wrote our characters last name. We also coloured it. It was very fun!
Last week we went on a field trip to the Children’s Art Festival. We first went inside the Richmond Art Gallery and learned about Fantasy Gardens and how they tore it down. We also got to make special hats and we had a drum lesson. It was great!
