I will listen to thy voice.. lest my footsteps stray.'
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sillygwailo/5256279940/" title="RCMP car at Lansdowne Station by sillygwailo, on Flickr" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5050/5256279940_b77a0ae801_m.jpg" width="240" height="179" alt="RCMP car at Lansdowne Station"align="left"></a>
A friend came to the conclusion of listening to a voice, an impulsion towards finding his purpose in life. It had been with him for some time, but he had chosen to ignore it..

When I brought forward the idea again this week, we had a great conversation and he now feels comfortable in exploring it.

Went back to a store to pick up a product 3 times before the store finally had processed our order. Expressing grace each time was a transforming experience. Took the opportunity to engage with others in the line up and went some distance with everyone to explore the power of What's Gone Well Today in each case. People shifted from the superficial to heartfelt stories.

One older woman was wearing a Harley Davidson jacket. Her children both have Harley's and gave her the jacket. She's never been on one. When I acknowledged that in her parenting, she'd instilled a sense of adventure, she told me of giving her son a mini bike when he was 9.. and both son and daughter contended for it till they were 15. The mom got on it once, but had forgotten to ask how to stop it...

Instead of impatience and contempt for the mis-steps by the store, we experienced joy, patience, insight, flexibility and connection. Each encounter was a gift.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/56705607@N00/5957131112/" title="2011 07 UVic 01 by marbla123, on Flickr" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6124/5957131112_8cd287d165_m.jpg" width="240" height="180" alt="2011 07 UVic 01" align="left"></a>One evening I I was told of a presentation at the university. I walked over in the rain thinking about The Lord's Prayer which one writer says " covers all human needs" When I arrived I found the presentation was next week. I continued my deep exploration of the ideas.. and came home refreshed.

It's always more important how we respond to an event. That response is what becomes 'real' to us.

I've been struggling with inflammation in this area for a week or so. Also struggling with the question of what to do about a particular question in my life. Last night I surrendered the question to the universe and accepted that it just IS what it is and quit worrying about what it might become. Over breakfast I was reading about the 5th chakra and how it is the centre of choice and consequence, how its physical connection is in the throat, mouth, jaw, teeth, neck etc and its health is dictated by one's surrender of personal will to divine will. Coincidence? I think not.
