Today I woke up feeling so grateful that it has always been my lot in life to have a safe, comfortable home. Then this quickly expanded to include cheerful housemates and several friendly men who fix things for me. I’m also happy to live in a generally well-run country where I feel in no danger of being shot for my opinions, as did my neighbours before they fled to Canada a few years ago.
And the sun is shining again! and my tomato seeds are germinating! and I’m happy to be grateful today!
Love to all from Liz
Saw his wife today.. She is a very positive being. He had commented on the interchange to her… ” He’s not inspired with me.”
Sitting in the Gardens this morning, a fellow on a scooter came by and commented that the gardens are so beautiful right now.
Noteworthy as this is the first time this neighbour started a conversation , and the first time he’s had something positive to say.

One of my favourite places is putting on quite a show these days. A 3 minute bike ride from our home!
A student from Japan I got to know well told me that she got a job as a counsellor in a language school near her hoome. What a wonderful fit! She is bright, empathetic and curious.
