Invited a couple we hadn’t seen together before, to see Jake’s Gift at Government House. They had never been there, loved the show and the House. It was a gracious event with this spectacular view.
A woman came up to me at a UVic bus stop and asked if I’d dropped some bus tickets. I had been looking for them. So sweet of her.
Attended the graduation ceremonies for a couple of Loni’s students. Here one of her first students who came to her in 2006, gave a valedictorian talk.
Met Denise at the back of a route 72 bus. One of the stories she shared was that she had left her bag on the bus the other day going into Victoria, and upon returning home knew she’d forgotten it. She contacted Transit Lost and Found, and they had it for her. She has great faith in people’s honesty.
