ConversationWorks Update

November 19th 2010 – expect fresh updates about collaborations with non profits within a week

Created a new movement / shift of thought called What’s Gone Well Today. It’s larger application is to help organizations become more empathetic. We also have a WGWT at School program.

What’s Gone Well Today ™ helps people reflect on their own lives and what good is occurring today. Whether we use it to reflect on our own day… or to engage with others at level beyond “How’s it going..” We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and discover deeper connections with one another.

We have about between 600-1000 views a day from all over the world.. and about 450 posts of video or written experiences.

Jian Ghomeshi, CBC’s Q, read a letter I sent to him after the rescue of the Chilean miners.. about the need to focus on What’s Gone Well Today.. That caused a lot of folks from across Canada to come to the blog .. on a continuing basis.

An article on small talk in the local paper was passed to me. I checked out the expert they’d referenced, joined his blog and left some info about WGWT. We are now getting traffic from around the world..

Our first WGWT Introduction and Training Series of 3 evening workshops are being hosted at UVic by the Office of Community Based Research in early Dec. It features prominent players from local non profits, community foundation, business, academic circles. They are all thrilled to be included.

We are doing a Community School Interview Series for a program in Campbell River, Nov 22/3
