This second annual event aims to honour and celebrate the spirit of Roger Colwill by bringing the community together in a fun gathering. This event further supports Roger’s memory by contributing to the Roger Colwill Fund for the Environment and by extension the Bateman Centre- an advanced art and environmental education centre to be build at Royal Roads University.
This year’s event will feature green learning, beer and burgers, a kids’ art zone, live music by Party Band,a local food market, silent auction, dunk tank, and more!
Last year, we saw over 400 friends and raised over $6000. Bigger and better this year, the afternoon should not be missed!
The Block Party is a fun(d) raiser for the Roger Colwill Fund for the Environment. The party was created by Sarah Colwill, daughter of Roger Colwill , the late founder of Green Drinks Victoria. Here are 48 interviews with people talking about how Roger changed their lives. They have been viewed over 5000 times.
Walk or bike to this community oriented, family friendly event in the true spirit of Roger, who loved nothing more than a great street party where neighbours got to know each other!
The organizers of Neighbours for Change would like gratefully thank everyone who has helped with the event, from volunteers to sponsors. In particular, we would like to thank Metrolpol, the Fernwood Inn, reFUSE, Stephen Whipp Financial and Level Ground who have helped ensure the event will be a success.
