Having barely scraped through high school Shelly finally found her brain and self in her 20′s and has worked as a teacher / counsellor / career counsellor for SD 72 for - some time.
Following high school, throughout university and before her school career she worked as:
* a donut jelly jammer
* an seniors’ home aide
* a bartender
* a legal educator
* a life skills trainer
* an entrepreneur

She is just like everyone else; she has gone through loved ones passing, heartbreaks and has gained new strengths through these challenges.
