I think that Elizabeth May stood out for me because she is trying to make a difference for next year by trying to stop people from polluting the world and trying to stop poverty.

When Elizabeth May was asked about how she has tried to get the attention of thet media, I thought it was interesting when I heard that Stephen Harper was playing a Beatles song and it got famous on Youtube.

I connected to Elizabeth May’s ideas when she said that if things were near communities then people wouldn’t always have to use cars because my mom always tells us to walk to places that are close instead of driving. I also take the bus to school instead of using a car. Something that stood out for me was that if people used solar panels on top of their houses, then they wouldn’t have to pay as much for electricity.

Something that stood out for me was Elizabeth May’s comment about Copenhagen being a failure. I was shocked at that because on the news everyone said it was a success. Also, if when world leaders get together to discuss something, and someone who is there called it a failure, then what hope is there?

Well, what really stood out for me was when Elizabeth May said that everybody should try to live close to work and school so that they could walk or bike to school or work. It’s just a better way to stop pollution because our earth is very, very important and people are starting to forget about that.
