I was thinking it might be hard to express good cheer this Christmas. With one child who doesn’t want to be in touch and another overseas, it left just one to come home for Christmas. I let my husband take the lead. He invited two of the daughter’s friends for dinner. So with one son and his girlfriend and the two other friends, it was a very happy Dec. 23rd. A happy (for me) circumstance, led to the girlfriend wanting to stay with us for Christmas eve and morning. I didn’t know her very well so far, and it turns out that she is not only dazzlingly beautiful, but also so good hearted. It was so cool to let the season unfold as it would, and I so appreciate my husband’s creativity and caring.
